Ethiopia: Harar

The ancient walled city of Harar, a UNESCO world heritage site, is a bustling centuries-old cultural and trading crossroads…

The fastest way to get there is by air from Addis Ababa to Dire Dawa, then taxi to the Dire Dawa bus station, then minibus ride from Dire Dawa to Harar. Once there, soak up the vibrant street life by day and visit the famous Hyena men after dark!

    1. You just made my day! That is the greatest compliment you could give me. As you can see, my style is quite simple… and I only use a point and shoot… with almost zero editing… maybe a crop here and there. My intent is to show the viewer EXACTLY what I saw without any interpretation or gimmicks… and to give them a chance to experience what it was like to be there. All the best to you in photography and life! Cheers!
