Upon arrival, the visual impact is absolutely jaw dropping.
The site is also far more precipitously perched than photographs can convey.
The most impressive aspect was the variety, precision, and artistry of the stonework.

You can get some sense of the scale by realizing that the “hill” in the background rises 800 feet above the site!
